Lately our son has been really into creating with recycled cardboard items around the house and creating with building sets.  The Calabot by Creative Toyshop is a super cool DIY robot made from recycled cardboard. I knew that my son would adore building the Calabot and I was 10%0% right on. Matter of fact, I have never seen him so diligent in wanting to build it himself. A little about him.. he doesn’t like to do many things independently.. unless of course you are there watching him   It was great to see him wanting to work on this without help.  I think what really helped were the instructions that come with the Calabot, they are step by step and include a nice photo to demonstrate each different step.  He did such a wonderful job and is so proud of himself which is priceless.

The Calabot is pure affordable and creative fun for the little ones. Once their done constructing,  they also get to design it however they would like.. simply using paints or things around your home such as old cables. I think this is a fabulous and affordable idea for kids!
